HISTORY and PURPOSE
The Chelmsford Friends of the Library (CFOL) began in 1992 with the purpose to enhance the effectiveness of the Chelmsford Public Library system by providing support of both a financial and volunteer nature.  We wish to promote, sponsor, and carry out educational and public service purposes and objectives so as to encourage citizen interest and participation in the Chelmsford Public Library.

The Chelmsford Friends of the Library is incorporated as a 501(c)3 organization.  Donations through CFOL are tax deductible and eligible for most employer matching funds.
